Darkroom fine art print of Cobbolds Point, Felixstowe, Suffolk.

This image was taken on the 17th july 2020 on a beautiful summer’s morning. It was shot on a Hasselblad 2000 F/CM using Kodak Tri-x 400 medium format 120 film black and white film. and using LEE Filters polariser and Big Stopper to achieve the long exposure.

All my black and white negatives are hand developed in my studio using “Tentative” Diafine developer. This is the “classic” combination of film and developer that brings outstanding results.

The negative is then enlarged on my Kaiser Enlarger in my darkroom onto Ilford Multigrade glossy paper. After the paper has been exposed, dodged and burned accordingly it is then hand developed using ilford multigrade developer, stop and fixer.

Each print is then mounted by hand with each matt cut accordingly.

Overall size is approximately 16.5 X 16.5 inches

The image size is approximately 11 x 11 inches
