New Print Release
Back to Scotland for the next print release on my website. This image has quite a story attached to it.
The plan was to photograph Loch Tulla and the Black Mountains. For this I needed to be in this spot for half eight in the morning to capture it at day break. This way the light would be coming from behind me illuminating the mountains in the typical scottish winters soft light.
However, to get there for that time I had to first get to the viewing spot along the A82 from suffolk a normal 9 hr drive. So we set of at 10:00 pm the night before giving us plenty of time!
No sooner had we hit the A1 the road had been closed with a massive diversion. Thick fog had reduced our speed to about 30mph for what felt like hundreds of miles. We eventually got to the spot just after 15:00 a good eight hours later than I wanted to.
This image was captured at 15:30:49 and to be honest im so glad we got there later as it was just the most beautiful sight to watch and listen.
